APGA OSUN CALLS ON NEW POLICE COMMISSIONER TO PRIORITIZE CITIZENS' SECURITY

The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Osun State Chapter has extended its warm welcome to the newly posted Commissioner of Police, CP Isyaku Mohammed.

In a press statement issued on Sunday in Osogbo by the Chairman of the Party, Wole Adedoyin, the party emphasized the critical role of law enforcement in ensuring the safety and security of citizens and their properties within the state.

“CP Isyaku Mohammed, with his wealth of experience serving in various capacities across the nation, including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is expected to bring a renewed sense of dedication and professionalism to the Osun State Command.”

The party expressed confidence in his ability to tackle the prevailing insecurity challenges and protect the lives and properties of the people.

Osun APGA commended CP Isyaku Mohammed for his track record of integrity and commitment to duty. The party believed that his tenure in Osun State presents an opportunity for him to showcase his leadership qualities and contribute significantly to the improvement of the security landscape in the state.

As guardians of the public trust, APGA emphasized the importance of the new Commissioner of Police maintaining impartiality and not allowing himself to be swayed by the interests of any political party or individual. The party called on CP Isyaku Mohammed to uphold the principles of justice and fairness in the discharge of his duties, ensuring that the law is applied without fear or favor.

The party acknowledged the challenging nature of policing in the present times and urges CP Isyaku Mohammed to collaborate with other security agencies, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders to formulate holistic strategies for crime prevention and control.
