The narrative that igbos are the targets have already failed. The government should proceed and do what has to be done. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

I wonder why the igbos would think they are targeting them.... Whether they leave or stay in Lagos... Lagos will remain Lagos... So why should they be targeted?? What is wrong is wrong... 5 Likes |

Beremx: That is like saying because you have been driving without papers and nobody stopped you it is wicked if suddenly lastma suddenly mounted a checkpoint and starts asking motorists for papers. The way you people think and your victim mentality is staggering. You commit illegalities and still blame the govt. What is wrong is wrong, the fact that you are getting away with it doesn’t make it right. Every day for the thief one day for 5e owner. You think only of yourselves and your houses, you forget the thousands of other residents who have complied with the law whose houses and properties are destroyed by flooding caused by your illegalities. You forget the people who get sick because water does not drain properly. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

I love Northerners. They know how to breed ekuke dogs. Even if the dog wags it's tail. ... you must take it by the collar and beat it to an inch of its life from time to time. Unlike Yorubas who just woke up when the dog they named and feed daily started barking calling itself Master. Now they are learning well from Northerners on treatment of a rabid ekuke dog. 5 Likes 3 Shares

You don not owe those clowns any explanation. It makes them appear important. Any affected property owner will valid titled documents and building approval from LASG should present it and let’s see. 3 Likes 1 Share |

If not that we Nigerians are lawless yet demanding good leaders, why would someone spend millions on building without ensuring government provides approval. Most of these owners will still claim there are literate. All of them are just making noise, cos if they have valid approvals and permits, they would have shut down the relevant government agency with their protests and lawsuits. 3 Likes |

The truth is, Lagos state is all out on the Igbos. From now on, they'll start looking for areas that's unapproved and predominantly inhabited by the Igbo. If you're an Igbo in such area, just sell your house |

The cry has been, they demolish my house cause I'm ibo. Why not say they demolish my house despite approval or C of O One was even saying he was begging FHA to collect 50m. Like why build without collecting approval first. They always think you can bribe ur way out 1 Like |

Truth234: What you type does not make sense. Both the people and government are liable. There is Monitoring and Compliance department in most state agencies. Adequate monitoring would have detected or observed when the buildings were begun, at the foundation stage before completion You cannot justify lack of proper monitoring and shift the whole burden on the builders. Monitoring is key to compliance in all civic activities. It is more effective, cost effective and less disruptive. Demolishing buildings after waiting for years for the buildings to be completed is not the best and can be manipulated as weapon for vindictiveness |

1TrippleCee: Stop deflecting the topic. Were there approvals for the demolished buildings? Na the question be that and not this victim mentality wey you dey try project. The law is always clear. The owners probably knew about it, so, blame the victims of the demolition and not the government. 4 Likes |

Demolish all you can. You can't demolish Igbo spirit. Not saying what you are doing is good or bad. What I am saying is that you cannot demolish the determination of an average Igbo man to succeed against odds. |

flokii:why not start from places like marina, obalende and ebute meta that has one of the highest rate of defective buildings in Lagos. One thing is sure this buildings will continue to fall and kill people why the government look for well built structures without approval to bring down. |

It's waste of resources engaging those who believed Buhari was cloned. No matter the explanation put forward they would still wail and call it ethnic victimisation to score cheap political points That is their way nothing can change that. 1 Like 3 Shares |
