The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike on Friday, November 24, expressed shock over the N8.9 billion monthly salaries of FCT Administration staff.

Wike disclosed that he would despite resistance embark on staff auditing to confirm the figure.

The minister who spoke during a live broadcast in his office also said FCTA has 38 thousand staff.

Wike also disclosed that the issue of insecurity in the territory will be tackled without fear or favour

He said President Bola Tinubu would commission several projects within the FCT in the shortest possible time.
