The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has ‘held talks’ with former Super Eagles captain, Stephen Keshi following last Friday’s sacking of Samson Siasia.

President of the NFF, Aminu Maigari exclusively told SuperSport.com that the Federation made contact with Keshi of Friday but refused to divulge the subject o the ‘discussions’.

“Yes, we (NFF) spoke to Keshi on Friday but I can’t tell you the nature of our discussion,” Maigari told SuperSport.com.

Following Siasia’s sack, name dropping and speculations have been making the rounds as to Siasia’s replacement.

Stephen Keshi and Sunday Oliseh have now been installed as favourite to succeed Siasia.

The technical committee of the NFF will meet on Tuesday to deliberate on the choice of the next Super Eagles Manager.

A decision is expected to be reached on Wednesday.
