If there were jobs, then those guys that are in the ANTI TOUT office will not be there. It is a TOUT job. They speak the same TOUT language and behave the same ways just that one NOW has uniform. Cest Fini.

It's not easy. One just has to suffer, bear in silence and pray to God.
Those touts simply let love that lifestyle of opressing people and stealing.

A hefty law must be passed to curb the nuisance.

If any tout is caught, they must be handed over to the nearest army barracks for proper handling or outright hanging to be more brutal!!

Just build efficient transportation system and watch agberos disappear naturally. That is what Lagos is doing gradually with train network and BRT.

If only other states would start performing so people won't keep trooping to Lagos the moment they develop small muscles for apprenticeship.

Noooo into 1000 times, onitsha touts are the most wicked species of human beings, if you want, provide all the jobs in this world, they'll still greedily opt for touting, I encountered 40 of them, wielding matchetes, but thanks to the miraculous work of God Almighty, I was able to surmount their crude wickedness and lived to tell the story, waoh!!!! Such wickedness, if you are the kind that never tolerated intimidation, then, your only saving grace will be God, the fracas that broke out was such that, the then governor Peter obi sent navy to curb them, they went on rampage destroying people's properties, he drafted in the police rrs, combined with navy, with enough amo to confront them, many of them were arrested, the unrelentlessly stubborn ones among the touts attacked the police and navy with different kinds of gun and weapons, obi drafted police from as far as sokoto, Kano, Lagos, rivers, imo and Abuja, he requested for the best, before he could bring many of them down, and Chase the remaining out of the state, many of them left the state, but some came back during the obiano years, recruiting younger touts and training them, I believe those are the ones soludo is fighting now.
