It's really bemusing that the classic Muslim-Muslim marriage between Tinubu and Northern Muslims seems to have ended, only months after. Tinubu can be likened to a playboy with sugar mouth who convinced a pretty girl to marry him with promise of enjoying so much wealth, only for the woman to be receiving beatings everyday. Wealth she didn't enjoy. Love she didn't get. Now, the celebrity wedding seems to be heading towards divorce.

Unfortunately for the North, Tinubu now holds the four aces. He can afford to turn his wife to a punching bag knowing there won't be any consequences whatsoever.

Let's even assume that Tinubu will allow a free and fair election in 2027, (which we all know is impossible except something extraordinary happens) with Peter Obi contesting, how then will Atiku or any other candidate that comes from North hope to win?

Northern Muslims must have found themselves between the rock and a hard place. Because, should Tinubu continue at the pace he is going, by 8 years time, their situation will be terrible. Should they go against Tinubu, they also risk losing out completely and becoming completely irrelevant. A situation that would come with devastating consequences.

They've found themselves in a frustrating delimma of sorts. The beautiful bride has discovered she was deceived into marrying a moneybag who has turned out to be a ritualist. Unfortunately for her, she can't come out openly to complain out of fear of being ridiculed but at the same time she is beginning to fear for her life.

Who would save the bride?
Who would save northern Muslims?

Tinubu is not foolish. With or without the north, he will win the next election. With what APC did in Imo State, what happens in Nigeria isn't election anymore. There's no point going out to vote. They will just write results and the Supreme Court will validate his re-election.

I'm afraid, it would be very difficult to stop Tinubu now. He has entrenched his men everywhere and keeps caging everyone with each passing day.

His brother is chief of army staff.
His brother is IG of police.
He is using mad Wike as gatekeeper in Abuja.
His stooge controls Lagos.
He has sent El Rufai on exile.
Kwankwaso will be subdued soon.
He is now empowering weak northern politicians while subduing the strong ones.
He empowers northern politicians that are willing to grovel before him while sidelining the heavy weights.
His brother is also controlling customs and virtually all critical sectors in Nigeria.

The last joker will be to remove Mahmoud Yakubu and replace him with an omoluabi.

Even Tinubu knows he is unstoppable now and that's why he doesn't care about North anymore.
