My good friends at NNPCL now understand that work has just began, for the past 30 years what they were doing was not work.
The organisation became a middleman or agent for the sale of Nigerian crude oil without adding any value to it,now they must work for their money
I believe more of this deals will be signed over the next few months because like the Speaker of the House of Reps. said recently, their unclothedness will be shown to the world
Nigerians don't understand the power of our Crude oil, some people think it's only petrol,Diesel,Kerosene and Aviation fuel that comes from Crude oil
If only they know that about 14 different products come from crude oil and there are countries that earn all their income from one of this byproducts
Have you ever asked yourself what is called petroleum jelly aka vaseline produced by the pharmaceutical companies
NNPCL just started the real core values it was established for,to add value to our crude oil and be a competitive organisation like Aramco and not a middleman or agent
You no get respect o, who you come dey para for now? If you must also know that about 300 different products come from crude oil kiss even ground nut oil angry

We're deceiving ourselves. Nigerian LNG is exported after upward payments & later gas for domestic use is imported from the US, Algeria etc. What kind of economy is that?

Nnpc need to be overhauled completely, that Organization is opaque and too corrupt. They are one of the reasons the naira is plunging further.former cbn governor complained about them not remitting money. Nobody knows how much nnpc is making every year.

Where should it be located? Is Kogi not an oil producing state now?

What's the AKK pipeline for again?

Aren't you surprised former President Buhari went and commissioned an uncompleted Dangote's Refinery?

Ajaokuta Steel located in Kogi was a complete disaster. A full train wreck. Oil producing is different from gas producing. Most of Nigeria's gas is located deep in the south and offshore. Why waste money piping or trucking raw gas to Kogi when the gas can be refined close to its source and finished product trucked or piped up north?

Ajaokuta steel failed because of its location or international politics of that time? It has continued to fail because Nigerian politicians have discovered it's way to siphon public funds, so they left it in that state to use it to steal instead of making it to work.

Ajaokuta was 90% complete before the issue started. We heard it was the rail line to the steel plant that was needed, since the number of trucks it'd require to get its daily feedstock from Itakpe to the plant would be in thousands, a rail line was required and I think Buhari built one.

If it's about location, the aluminum company in Ikot Abasi is moribund and that's not in the north.

NNPCL is complaining that 4800 illegal pipes connected to the pipeline and, they found in 100km length of pipeline there 300 illegal pipes connected. Looking at the situation, you still think it's better to use push gas from the south?

Similarly, the Small-Scale LNG (SSLNG) Project agreement was signed by the Managing Director, NNPC Trading Ltd., Mr. Lawal Sade, on behalf of NNPC Prime LNG Ltd. while Mr. Abhinav Modi, Managing Director of SDP Services Ltd., signed on behalf of his company.

The SSLNG Project, which will be located at Ajaokuta in Kogi State, Central Nigeria, will ensure the efficient supply of LNG to the Autogas/Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and industrial/commercial customers nationwide. The LNG Project is expected to be operational by December 2024.
