President Bola Tinubu on Monday departed Abuja for Maiduguri, Borno State for a state event.

Tinubu took off from the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, at about ten-thirty-five, Monday morning.

The President, who is visiting the north-eastern part of the country for the first time since assuming office, is to attend the Nigerian Army Annual Conference, as the Special Guest of Honour.

The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, in a statement, said the Opening Ceremony will feature an address to troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI, inspection of ongoing Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Maiduguri and laying of the foundation stone of Headquarters 7 Division by the President.

Tinubu, to end Boko Haram phenomenon, tell the political and religious leaders of the 12 northern sharia states to renounce their adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system which they started to adopt between 1999-2001. Boko Haram says that it's fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.
No army in the world can end Boko Haram phenomenon, you know this.
No army, including the US led allied forces, was able to end the Taliban phenomenon in Afghanistan.
Taliban and Boko Haram share common identity: to have their respective countries ruled with Islamic Sharia criminal laws.

Tinubu as governor went contrary to the constitution of Nigeria. Then president Obasanjo seized Lagos State LG federal allocations.
But 12 governors of 12 northern states led by Yerima urinated on Nigeria's Constitution through adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws. Obasanjo thought they were jokes.
Boko Haram emerged.

Withhold the LG federal allocations of the 12 sharia states until they RENOUNCE THEIR ADOPTION OF UNCONSTITUTIONAL ISLAMIC SHARIA CRIMINAL LAWS.

Boko Haram can only be fought politically, not by sacrificing men and women of Nigeria's armed forces in an unending religious war.
