The Chairman of United Nigeria, Professor Obiora Okonkwo, OFR (Dikeora), has been nominated by the Igbo socio-economic think tank group, AKA IKENGA , for a special acknowledgement as a distinguished "Enabler of Ndi-igbo Vision, Strength, and Resilience." This recognition is based on his unwavering commitment and dedication to the Igbo tenet, ideal and objectives as well as Nigeria's unity.

The nomination was conveyed to Professor Okonkwo through a letter from the leadership of Aka Ikenga, dated November 12, 2023. The letter, signed by President Agbalanze Chike Madueke, Secretary-General Ogbueshi Mark-Anthony Nduka-eze, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee Sir Nnamdi Obi, expresses great pleasure, respect, and a sense of responsibility in recognizing Professor Okonkwo's unique contributions.

The letter reads, "It is with great pleasure, respect, and responsibility that we, on behalf of the Executives and Members of AKA IKENGA, the non-partisan Igbo socio-economic think tank, write to notify you of our considered decision to recognize you as a unique enabler of Ndigbo vision, strength, and resilience in your distinctive services, mentorship, and inspirations to our common nationhood.

We believe the resources of your labor and the stature of your tenacity in service to our country and Ndigbo as an industry path builder and barriers breaker in aviation are worthy references, amongst several, that commend you for this special honor as Aka Ikenga Vision Partner.

Professor Okonkwo, known for advocating the revival of Ndị Igbo's lost glory and sustaining the legacies of visionary leaders like Nnamdi Azikiwe and Michael Iheonukara Okpara, will be honored at an event marking the end-of-year get-together activities of the Igbo Think Tank Group in Lagos State on Sunday, December 17, 2023. The ceremony will also celebrate other prominent Igbo figures, including Senator Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige, former Governor of Anambra State, Senator and Minister of the Federal Republic; Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President Igbo Apex body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo; Chairman of Air Peace Airlines, Chief Barr. Allen Onyema; and a host of others.

Instead of hommies to go look for a job and get busy, they be manufacturing false awards and dishing it out to the highest bidder.

They have bastardized the celebration.

You asking our odogwus and ogbuehis to go look for job? This man sef..
These are big men already. More than 97% of them has potbelly undecided shocked grin

My only wonder is why this think-tank group still hasn't realized the development of Ndi-Igbo does not concern the FG even if an Igbo man eventually becomes president. It's not the FG s responsibility, you guys have Governors and other Representatives since before '98. And all the deve has been met by Abuja.

It's the responsibility of all of Ndi-Igbo to abandon the nonsense cry for secession and focus primarily on developing their region. Not turn the whole place into another forbidden realm like the Northen part of the country.

Igbos are great and Intelligent people, but misplaced priorities, misinformation and chasing after wind and overpowering arrogance are a few of the problems they need to fight off. Not to mention the vermin profiteers who use them and fool them into becoming terrorists to their own Igbo brethren. And this they currently are ignorant of to the extent of arrogantly support their current folly with finger pointing everywhere.

Ndi-Igbo should look within and realize it's mistakes and iron these things out.

Igbo Amala..
