Updates on the Al-Aqsa Flood operation presented in this episode of Samri Channel.

Starting with the Israeli occupation army, which said that it “accidentally” killed three hostages in the Gaza Strip, because its soldiers believed that they posed a “threat” to them. The hostages are: Yotam Haim, (28) years old, Samer Talalqa, (22) years old, and Alon Shamrez, (26) years old. The army expressed its regret and said that the three were killed by Israeli soldiers' bullets during an operation in the Shujaiya neighborhood, north of Gaza. More than 100 hostages remain in Gaza, since the attacks of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Israeli cities in the Gaza Strip on October 7. The Israeli army said that it had opened an investigation into the incident, and that it expressed its “deep regret for this tragedy, and sent its sincere condolences to the families of the victims.”

He added: "Our national mission is to find missing hostages and return them to their country." Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets in Tel Aviv, after the incident was announced, and headed to a military base in the city, demanding that the government conclude an agreement to release the remaining hostages. The demonstrators carried candles and raised banners reading: “Return them to their families” and “Exchange the hostages now.” The bodies of the three hostages were returned to Israel, where tests were conducted on them to confirm their identity. Yotam Haim, who was kidnapped from Kfar Azza on October 7, was a musician, loved animals, and loved preparing Italian meals.

On the day of the Hamas fighters’ attack, Yotam spoke to his family on the phone and told them of a fire in his house, and when he opened the window to ventilate, he was kidnapped. His mother stated in an interview with the BBC that the family contacted him while he was in a hiding place in his home, and then contact with him was cut off. Alon Shamiz was also kidnapped from Kfar Azza, and his family finally allowed his name to be revealed, after they had previously refused to do so. As for Samer Talalqa, he is a Bedouin and was kidnapped in Kibbutz Niram.

On the other hand, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin began a tour in the Middle East that includes his visit to Israel, Bahrain, and Qatar. Austin wrote on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter: “He is heading to Israel, Bahrain, and Qatar to emphasize US commitments to strengthening regional security and stability, and to work with partners and allies to enhance defense capabilities.” Earlier, the Israeli occupation army announced that the head of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Michael Corella, visited Israel on Friday, where he met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Army, Herzi Halevy, and the Chief of General Staff provided an updated assessment of the situation, covering the development of the war and the Israeli army’s readiness in All Areas.

Finally, four of the five largest maritime shipping companies in the world announced that they would stop crossing the Red Sea as part of pressure on the United States and the West to take political action regarding the crisis, as insurance prices rose severalfold following the Yemeni attacks on ships heading to the Israeli enemy entity.
These companies are CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk, and MSC, and together they represent 53% of global container trade, according to Economist magazine, in addition to these companies, Israeli companies such as Zim and Ray Shipping.
The Israeli website Globes said that shipping companies are pressuring America and the West to take action to resolve the crisis, while Maersk called for political action to resolve the crisis. At the same time, countries are putting pressure and mediation on Sanaa to stop its operations against ships heading to Israel, but Sanaa announced its adherence to the condition of lifting the blockade imposed by the Israeli enemy entity, with American support, on the Gaza Strip.

America is seeking to form a coalition to accompany ships in the Red Sea, but experts and private sources in Sanaa confirm that the matter will complicate the problem and may expand the scope of the war to what Washington cannot contain, and that the easiest thing is to move to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.
