Buhari really said it. One of the biggest problem we have is our lazy, unmotivated and unemployable youth.

We keep crying that there are no jobs. But those jakpaing to foreign countries will go there to do the same job that they swear they can never do here. Jobs full Nigeria, the problem is that nobody wants to work. Everybody want soft easy life without stress but with plenty money. Oloshi

If not, tell me why you will be over 30years and still be comfortable in your fathers house eating your Mumsy food. No single shame. No single conscience. Some will even be working and pocketing their salary only to relax and be eating their parents. Tufiakwa!

Parents probably started hustling in their teens. If you hear their story you will know that everything they have didn’t come easy. But you will have the nonentity children who just want to come chop, adding more stress to them. They train you, send you to school, even sometimes hustle job for you, but you will remain there like dead wood, waiting for mummy to still cook let you eat. So the parents will never ever rest till they die. No ambition, no plan, no prospects! God forbid. Nigeria has BIG problem looming!

God Bless You for this post. My mother would narrate the distant trekking from contain area to ijesha. Imagine the distance. Almost daily for food. The younger generation doesn't want to sweat it out

Lol see ya ugly mouth like job full Nigeria😂

Who wan establish for country with no stable power supply, insecurity, poor road, harsh economy, no infrastructure etc

How much cleaner for naija dey earn compare to US, Canada and the likes?

Cleaners for US earn more than naija University lecturers.

Allow people to japa oga. They owe you no explanation. Besides, how many naija people even fit afford to japa? Less than 3% of over 200 million.

An average Nigerians cannot afford 3 square meal daily, an average Nigerians cannot afford a bag of rice, an average Nigerians don't have 500k in their bank account, an average Nigerians don't have access to quality healthcare, education et al, I can always go on and on

Relocation isn't meant for an average Nigerians, which obviously are over 80-90% of the population.

All thanks to your government that vow to improvished Nigerians

See this werey who is stopping you from jakpa. Smh

Cleaner earns more in US but you forgot that cleaner pays more taxes and far more bills. There is no way you can survive on cleaner job in US, u must work 3 or 4 other jobs. But in naija u work only one and go and sleep and be complaining. Awon lazy yoot! grin

There is a reason why majority of those who leave to do those 3/4 other jobs never look back. That you have yet to figure out why is reason why you shouldn't go around making this silly comments of yours. undecided

It’s not that they never look back, it’s the shame of jakpaing only to come back empty handed as a failure. 90% of people who jakpa end up with empty lives andino achievement. They spend 20 or 30years abroad only to return and find out that their mates have left them far Behinde.

Even after building homes back in Nigeria, and sending 10s of thousands back to family and friends in Nigeria many of them remain overseas. Majority never consider moving back to Nigeria and there is good reason why. It is not to do with laziness because someone who has to work 3 to 4 jobs out there is far from lazy. undecided

Exactly. Go back and read my comment.
Same person that will be forming cleaner job is beneath u, will get abroad and be begging for toilet washer and other menial jobs. Bottomline naija youth are lazy and unmotivated in nigeria because of the relatively easier life. When the go abroad they have no option but to work like donkey or sleep on streets.

Also, if abroad is so good they won't be sending money back home to build house and relocate someday. Abroad is good for hustle when u are young, but when u get older ur life is over.

1. Again, the issue isn't laziness but lack of adequate compensation. A cleaner abroad is able to earn enough money to put food on the table, take care of some bills maybe including rent too. Whereas the same worker in Nigeria is barely able to put food on the table and at the same time pay transportation to and fro work each day. Laziness is an issue but not close to a major issue. undecided

2. How many have relocated come the someday? Folks who emigrated as far back as the 70s and 80s are yet to move back home to Nigeria, you dey here dey talk as if it don happen already. lipsrsealed

There is nothing wrong with building back their in Nigeria where one can afford to, with hopes that someday the conditions will be right to head back there. undecided

olodo Mr Stockholm syndrome

A cleaner in US will build a mansion in Nigeria within 10 years, but professors in Nigeria can never achieve that throughout their 35 years service

Na your papa dey feed those lazy Nigerians na😂

Go tell those millions of unemployed graduates roaming the street of Nigeria daily say they lazy and watch if you'd come back home alive 😂

Obviously you have never travelled abroad otherwise you will know that there is no way a cleaner can afford to survive without 3 or 4 other jobs. On the contrary it’s in Nigeria that cleaners survive on just cleaning alone. Before u rush to respond, stop and think about it.

And yes, Laziness is a BIG problem here. Despite the very liberal economy with almost no taxes. In Nigeria u can just wake up one morning and start frying Akara or bons or eggroll. Your profit is yours alone. Try that in US and you go to jail!

Finally, those who went to America in the 80s and didn’t return are regretting it till today. Ask anyone you know or even go and watch Facebook or YouTube videos of reality. Those that remain there amount to nothing, stuck and lost, their children also lost to the system. The ones that suffer the most is the men. Your wife will leave you, take the kids and everything you have worked for. Nothing you can do. E go do u like nollywood movie

My dear, at the end of the day, east west home is best. Abroad will only be shacking you when u haven’t lived there. I am yet to see anunciareis who lived and died abroad happy. All of them want to come back home, but they can’t.

you can also continue from where your mother stopped and trek from Lagos to Abuja. You shouldn't be using a smart phone because i believe your mother didn't use it during their time. Don't consider having a car nor any sophisticated gadget, afterall, your mother doesn't have access to it during their time

your country don cast even before you were born. If your country good the masses will not be running away including your leaders. If you're a responsible man your wife will not abandon or divorce you, vice versa

Did you see Americans, Canadians running to Nigeria? Did you see them begging to have our visa? Did you see their leaders running to Nigeria begging to become a Nigerian like our leaders do? Absolutely NO!

Did their leaders run to Nigeria for healthcare, education, political jamboree meetings, entertainment like our leaders do? The answer is NO!

No be today naija don cast

Nigeria top the ladder of poverty and unemployment in the world.

Tell us which job your yeye government provide for the youths or which enabling environment put in place to attract foreign investors?

Tell us if those that are fortunate to have something doing in Nigeria, tell us if they can afford basic things. Did their take home truly take them home?

Your corrupt leaders are one of the highest paid executive and legislatives in the world, while their subjects are one of the poorest in the world.

Your yeye leaders have trillions of naira sitting in different bank account and properties across the globe while their subjects don't have anything to eat to celebrate Christmas

Continue to defend your government at the detriment of the masses

We all will give account for our deed after death. Including you and i
