It's not easy being a govt apologist.

This announcement is a revelation of mediocrity.

Part of the bridge has been closed down for months now.

Why wasn't that time used to do these repairs simultaneously?

Mediocrity sees nothing wrong in doing one thing after another when both things could have clearly been tackled within the very same time frame.

I want Nigerians to read and not just comment on topics based on emotions. Read!!!
. The Bridge has different ramps. The first phase was Adekunle axis and it has been re-opened. You don’t expect them to close down the whole bridge. The first information we got was that the repairs would be done in stages… people should read!!!

The article says a portion of the bridge. By the way 3rd mainland bridge is not just 1 bridge that connects the mainland to the island. There are many other bridges that connect different areas through the main 3rd mainland bridge and these are the bridges they have been working on. The last closure before this one was to work on the bridges that connect ebute meta and another one that leads to makoko. Those ones have been completed and reopened and if u pass through those places now u would see the nice job they did. I think they are trying to repair all the subsidiary bridges that connect other areas through 3rd mainland bridge.

Gosh, does niger bridge have any other bridges that connect through it? 3rd mainland bridge has up to 15 or more bridges that connect to it to different areas. This is not just 1 bridge for crying out loud.

For real, I just weak for some people. They just read and don't understand, or they just don't read at all. 3rd mainland bridge has up to 15 or more ramps that connect to it. The ramps is what they have been working on in stages. The last closure was to repair the ebute meta and makoko ramp and the job has been completed and reopened. Go through those places now and it's very smooth. Now they are working on another ramp, people still dey complain. Omo mhen.

These are repairs we cannot see what they are doing.

All the money you may be embezzling in the name of repairs will not befit you.

Resurface this bridge in its entirety and give motorists some relief. The condition of the bridge now despite all the money sunk into it is dismal.

Driving through this bridge reveals my damaged and failed sections such that you do not have a smooth ride. Yet these bunch of criminals do not see a need to provide a smooth ride for motorists.

Trust Nigerians to criticise the Governement for trying to ensure that any part of the bridge doesn't collapse, thereby claiming casualties

If the Government folds its hands until the bridge collapses killing many, the same Nigerians will say the Government isn't living up to responsibility.

Considering the heavy vehicular traffic on that bridge, including static load of vehicles on it during hold-ups, it's not hard to figure out why the Government has to ensure that there is no funny business regarding the bride's structural integrity

Nigerians are very hard to please

Oga calm dowm. What happen to the festive period when the populace is out of town. They are waiting for ppl to return so the alternative roads will be block with traffic
