In as much as this is a good gesture in a time where people are badly and madly hungry, I think k our politicians should learn to empower people rather than giving them things that won't last more than 5days and the citizens will still find their way to the street begging again..

Our politicians can do better.. Is it that most of our politicians don't ever have new year resolution to do things differently?

Instead of inviting foreign investors to build a rice factory in Bayelsa and hire the locals then exploring how to export rice to the rest of the world, this one is sharing food that won't last one week. Don't blame these types. It's the constituents I blame.
