“When my father passed away his best friend for 50+ years sent me a photo of them both on a bridge in Zurich when they were both young university graduates traveling together for the very first time in their lives to Europe. A year after my father died, his friend’s daughter (more than a sister to me) and I met in Venice and we decided to take a train to Zurich and buy similar clothes to what they put on in year 1974 to try to pull off the same pose on Quaibrucke and remake their picture.”
