The Narrator in this video is a clear-minded, courageous and committed Ijaw Man, Marlin Anagha, narrating the Truth about the Revenge Coup of July 1966 which followed the first one of January 1966 that had been tagged “Igbo Coup”, and about the many Lies against General Aguiyi Ironsi.

Falsehoods and False Narratives of Nigeria are what brought Nigeria to the ruins it is in now.

Ironsi had assumed power in mid-January 1966 following the failed January 15, 1966 Coup by junior officers but was murdered July 29, 1966 in a Counter-Coup. The Four-Region Structure of Nigeria was fractured for the first time May 27, 1967 into Twelve States by Gowon’s Decree No.14 of 1967.

On the tomb of Unitary Nigeria shall be written the Epithet: Nigeria died trying to kill the Igbo.

Decree 34 of 1966 by Ironsi by Ironsi abolished the regional system of Government and introduced Unitary system of government. What the Decree 14 of 1967 did was to create states from the regions.

Try and get sense... Decree 34 by Ironsi took away the power of the regional governments to keep or spend whatever revenue coming from the resources in those regions... That does not mean that the governments in the region will be scraped...
What Gowon did in 1967 with decree 14 is to create more states and take away the powers the 4 regional governors had. Your type are always trying to rewrite the history to favour the lies you were told.

That's the lie that has been told for a long time but above you is Gowons Decree 14 clearly abolishing the 4 Region's Nigeria had, and creating 12 new states to replace them

Ironsi's Decree 34 was about the civil service, not the Region's themselves

Not true, no where in Decree 34 did Ironsi deny the Region's resource control. Actually, resource control was abolished by Gowon with Decree 15. First Gowon abolished the Region's with 14, then removed resource control with Decree 15 below

Igbos need to focus on Yorubaa people, they are the ones behind these lies and propaganda.
