Oga, move on. Nigeria has passed this stage.

Elections are over; we are facing governance now.

How has Nigeria passed this stage? A certificate forger is still the president. So, Nigeria hasn't passed the stage. The country is still at that stage for as long as Cerificate Forger Tinubu remains president on the strength of forged certificates

NUC should not soft-pedal on the move.... until and unless all universities concerned agree to sponsor the visitation of relevant Ministry of Education as well as NUC n Nigerian University officials ...to go and accredit their programs...the Carry out their own forensic analysis....to certify that the administration practices are in tune and up to par.... people are getting certificates from your university in 1-2months.... you're here spewing rubbish....if you were in Nigeria you should already all be locked up...from VC to Bursar and the rest of the admin ..to all the lecturers....what's the likely qualifications of the lecturers there too....... everybody is sha taking profits from our governments ineptitude...Togo .Benin

..Ghana...Cameron...Niger an Chad are just few.....yet those same countries will not hesitate to treat our citizens like trash

That's right. You cannot for the act of Chicago University render certificates from the US invalid.

U are a joker my friend. Do you realize that those countries are Sovereign States by International Law. How can Nigeria go there to accredit their Higher Educational System Programmes. The most Nigeria can do is to de-recognise their Degrees in Nigeria & the said countries can equally retaliate as well. My opinion though.

Let them retaliate if they want to.... they're the ones with rampant certificate mills in their country..not us.. moreover...most of the said universities are actually owned and run by Nigerians.....and NUC is well within her rights to demand accountability.....if they are still interested in getting their certificates recognized in Nigeria....then they must be ready for Nigeria's certification

Benin started the era of dishing out honorary PHD's to stars of questionable character or those who have barely stracthed the surface of making any impact. Cubana chief priest, Frodd, Tim Godfrey, Ik Ogbonna etc all recieved Honourary Doctorates, in an ideal world this shouldn't be.

Despite Hilary Clinton's exemplary career she only received a honorary Degree in 2021, and Lionel Richie in 2017. But Benin dishes out degree to big brother Naija participants.

Someday soon, when are the so called super stars fade and are remembered no more, only one star will remain, He is the bright and morning star, the king of glory, the saviour of my soul, and its the degree and award He gives me at the resurrection that matters most to me. Not these paper qualification that will burn when this old earth is consumed with fire. Because true History, is His story and not the distorted view men of this world dish out to outplay themselves.

Time was, when there were only state and federal universities in Nigeria. Then in the early 2000s, private universities mushroomed astronomically. Even state and federal universities opened satellite campuses (something I detest) in apartment buildings and city malls. Besides, there are countless other higher institutions (e.g. College of Education and Polytechnics) in Nigeria. So, why would Nigerians go to neighbouring countries like Benin where French is the lingua franca to go and 'study' and 'earn' degrees?

Are you telling me you couldn't secure admission in any of the universities we have in Nigeria. Both federal, states and privates.
