Bible's admonition that we must be vigilant because 'the devil prowls like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour' is not a joke. The devil is really out to destroy people. Few days ago, I saw the video of a known 'juju man' throwing crisp naira notes in a lavish party he organized or attended. Also displayed in the short video were different expensive cars belonging to the 'juju man' who looked more like an R&B singer.

From the juju man's classy and graceful appearance, many people, especially the youths will, without doubt want to identify with him because of the things he has showcased. But what does the Bible say concerning such things? 'Beware: all that glitter is not gold'. This is an instruction that must be taken seriously if we must escape the wiles of the devil.

The flashy things that the juju man has thrown at the public is nothing but a bait: those who will take it will know no peace.Their life will be like a beautiful flower hauled into a fiery furnace.

The devil is not sleeping, it is using different things that look beautiful and attractive on the surface to imprison people. For this reason, we must try our best not to fall for the attractive things we see; majority of them are sham - they're intended to lead us into destruction.
