Well planned city, below is their site

Bro, I noticed that there’s a new ongoing shopping center around that road, is it the former abandon mall? Also the hotel at immigration junction looks classic, have they opened it yet??

Please cover those structures and show us please, happy new year

Nobody dey envy anyone; I don't have that time. Chino can continue with his madness; you can even join him. Nobody cares; I don't live on Nairaland. What I wrote there is a fact; Lagos State pattern is by far much better.

Check how Wike builds in Rivers State too. Govt builds to meet the accommodation needs of the people... unless that project is wholly owned by private people. You people don't like to learn or take corrections. Everything na envy and jealousy to you.
Anambra isn't having shortage of housing, private developers are closing that gap

If u're using Light from Ekedp, U must buy and use meters registered by them. If u buy meters registered to other discos, u may not be able to recharge.

Just go to any Nepa office close to you and apply for a meter, or u can try the link below.
https://ekedp.com/order-meter

I think he is looking for a component inside any similar meter, so he can repair his own

Funniest part of this brouhaha is the fact that those houses may only be opened December and closed by January.

Awka as a whole is a massive construction site and with this rate,Awka will soon be the city of destination in sub-saharan Africa, the systematic and meticulous planning put in place by govt and the individual contribution to this massive development is very intentional. They started with providing two dualized major access roads to the new city, after that they started with internal roads, drainage channels, and other infastructure now, they giving permission to build houses
That is how it supposed to be done, not like some places where they finished developing the area without proper access roads and drainage systems, I respect Soludo for this initiative

Nothing impressive here. This is just a place for a few privileged people. Build blocks of multistorey buildings like Lagos State to meet the accommodation needs of the locals.

This will end up being like one of those estates that people acquire but nobody lives in them because those who can afford them live outside the country. This doesn't solve the accommodation problem of the people.

Attached: those are the kinds of houses the government builds in Lagos. That's what every state in the East should be building to provide accommodation for all and utilise scarce land.
Note that this are government built houses but Anambra own are person and individual owned . I think Igbo’s are self made. Secondly, is the poor and lower middle class that lives in such block of stores buildings unlike the Anambra smart city that is detached or full duplex. Today in onitsha, all this multistorey are actually occupied by poor or lower middle class Igbo’s while in Lagos presently, is for the upper middle class lagosians who cannot even afford it because it costs millions to rent. The first time I tried to help a Canadian woman to rent a flat at the build behind ikeja police hqters, behind AVMCC Vining Anglican Church, I was surprised at the millions they were calling. That was like 10 yrs ago.

Now coming to understand you a little, SE may need some of the multistorey of 10 to 20 floors because of scarcity of land and power for elevators, but not sure the country as a whole is ready for that.

Finally, if you have ever travelled or lived in advanced society, you will realised that this Lagos type of houses or very high rise buildings are for the very poor and middle class.

Harlem and Brooklyn are with such buildings for the poor and lower middle class compared with Queens where the middle class and super rich blacks and whites lives. The same in Miami. Remember this are apartments buildings.

Here in the US, particularly in my city, most of the high rise and multistorey is now used for accommodating the dirt poor Americans and some senior citizen who pay as low as 20 to 25% of the main monthly rent.
Some new smart multistorey are now built in some super neighborhood but that’s mainly for working class whites and Chinese who can afford it.

Have you heard of Eko atlantic or VGC?
Do you think they are for poor men?
Private entities have the right to construct whatever they like
as long as it is not a crime.

If you think it is the job of government to house people, then elect
socialist politicians that align with your worldview.

Miserable frustrated envious fellow, show us your cursed backward imo state. You are talking about Lagos that was the former FCT. You are pained by the pictures coming out of Awka millennium city that’s why you are here running around trying to find fault in a faultless project in which most imo indigenes already invested in it because your state failed to develop to be like Anambra. Oga this area is set out for the affluent n not necessarily for common people. It is like what you have in banana island , lekki phase 1 eko Atlantic paradise city in Florida etc, so stop talking trash.
You posted buildings in igando lagos , an area where the poor n the middle class reside n you want to compare it with the akwa millennial city?
Oga you better rest
