KennisMusic is a legendary and most successful music label in the late 90s running through the 2000s that played a very legendary role in building the music industry. Kennis music was formed and owned by Kenny keke Ogungbe and Dayo "D1". At the time, foreign music reigned supreme in clubs and on radios. Kennis music was among the first to start the revolution that will make Africans start loving their own music more. To achieve this, they started a 1hr program then called "Prime time Jams" where they played mostly African music which they co-hosted with ID Ogungbe. ID Ogungbe did the segement of the program called ID in the Street which got feedbacks from the streets. They also used the opportunity to play their own signed artistes. In no time they achieved massive success with Tony Tetuila, Eedris Abdulkareem and later 2face. They later expanded to Ghana and signed VIP whom they achieved another monumental success with. I celebrate their contribution. Their hardwork and success inspired a lot of other Record labels and Artistes into music today. ©️LUXXY
