Nonsense and half truth is when you are not thorough in your narrative.
I know the story completely but stopping at he resigned after the 2013 AFCON as your narrative was, is not the complete story. I don't need the Vanguard link to recall.
sharap. Which half truth? In which part did I lie? I can stop wherever I want. It's my opinion. And I said the dramatic of afcon 2013 was coach Stephen keshi winning it and resigning. Which was 100% true and correct. And u say it wasn't correct, that keshi took us to world Cup 2014. U implled that I lied about keshi resigning in 3013.
And after I have shown u newspaper evidence of his resigning, u are saying I didn't tell the complete complete story. So I should have told u the story from keshi winning afcon 2013 and resigning and then rescinded the decision and took us to world Cup 2014 and continue the story till the day he died and what killed him?
U are a dumb. After reading the Vanguard story, u are now saying that u remembered, that u don't need Vanguard newspaper to remind. U are obviously lying. Because if u knew the story, u wouldn't have said that I wasn't correct, rather u would have continued the story from where I stopped

Stop being a fool. If you felt you shouldn't be corrected there were better ways to state it. Just like you can stop anywhere another can pick up from where you stop and make issues clear. For you to come saying some of you would type nonsense and U are dumb makes no sense. I did not read any Vanguard Story. Just like telling us that the Super Eagles in 1991 best Burkina Faso 7:1 in an unusual jersey combination without stating that they had to cut the track suit trousers to use as shorts for the trumping of Burkina Faso 7:1 in an AFCON Qualifier in Lagos and when someone adds the point you say it's one stupid Newspaper evidence.
Point remains: Keshi rescinded his decision and took us to the World Cup. If you have something else to verbosely display aside the info then check your brain.

I have very vague memories of Senegal '92. Tunisia '94 was was the first Nations cup I watched consciously and we won cool.
South Africa '96 and Burkina Faso '98 were a total blur as we did not participate.
Nigeria/Ghana 2000 will forever remain in our memories as a cancelled penalty shootout robbed us of the trophy to Cameroon sad.
Mali 2002 (Mali Deux mille Deux) remains my best of all the AFCON, we won bronze medal with just 5 goals through out the tournament grin
Tunisia 2004, Egypt 2006 back to back bronze
Ghana 2008 crashed out
Angola 2010 bronze
Equatorial Guinea/Gabon 2012 blur as we no qualify
South Africa 2013 We won🏆
Equatorial Guinea 2015, Gabon 2017 total blur as we no gree qualify (it's like our spirit no gel with those 2 countries)
Egypt 2019 bronze
Cameroon 2021 crashed out
Cote D'Ivoire 2023 - only time we tell

Total of 16 tournaments, I've witnessed so far. Some Indomie pikins cannot relate

Hmm didn't know you fancied football smiley.

Officially I started with Tunisia 2004. Nigeria could have won that tournament but In the semi final, the refree favoured tunisia the host nation. I cried when we lost the penalty shootout. That was obviously the first and the last time i cried because of football match. Each time i remember the event,i just laugh it off in my mind.

I started watching AFCON since 1980. The only one I missed was the one played in Egypt in 1986. Nigeria didn't qualify, so the fvcking NTA didn't broadcast it.

I started in 1994.

I started watching World Cup in 1982, though, so it's not an age thing.

Just not interested enough.

I didnt watch the last 3 or 4 AFCONs, either.

Honestly, I'm not so sure I'll watch this one. That won't stop me from wishing Osimhen well, though. I hope he wins the golden boot. A cup for SE will be a welcome surprise.

How did you start watching the World Cup in 1982 (I started watching mine in 1978) but started watching AFCON in 1994 (started mine in 1980).

I didn't care to watch AFCON.

I watched a couple of matches in each AFCON, of course, but didn't really catch the fever.
