This is not one sporadic incidence, it's been happening for almost a decade especially around that axis. Even travellers using that route which links to Jere have been attacked and even killed on an almost regular basis. These activities extend to Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Niger, Benue, Zamfara. They are not unrelated.

With the current advancement in technology and intelligence, is the problem our personnel? Abi have these bandits and criminals been recruited into our security agencies, especially when considering the level of nepotism in the last administration?
Our policies and laws, are there deficiencies which need to the corrected?

The onus is on the government of the day to crush these criminals along with their enablers and collaborators. An overhaul of the leadership of not just security agencies, but in other key sectors is needed as the banditry and terrorism which have ravaged many parts of the country have collaborators in these places. No person(s) should attempt to hold the country to ransom.

Particularly, the mining and resource development sectors must be strictly controlled by the government.

No where in my writeup did I mention or hint at any specific politician. All I'm saying is that the electorates will make better choices if they shun ethnoreligious sentiments when it comes to making political choices.. There are brilliant Nigerians from all ethnic groups who have the genuine interest of the country at heart. Those are the individuals the electorates should go for.

Braa... Do you want to hear the truth? Tribalism and religious bigotry cant leave Nigeria except you want to lie to ourselves. Who lumps Yoruba and Igbos together. People with entirely different ideology, different ways of life, different believe system. Same with lumping Hausa and igbo together. Who does that. We are total different kinds of people... And you expect a country without tribalism. This can't work and you know that.

The only way this country can work a little bit is regionalism. Let every region govern themselves under Nigeria federation. That is the only way out.

That's not the point. The point is this is always happening are they're not putting in majors in place to stop it. Look at the jos massacre that happened during the yuletide period.
