Mr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is a strong believer of our principle in Nigeria: where man dey work, na for there him dey shop. The only problem is that he has been caught in the act.

But then, the minister has a good plan for his ministry. The reforms are commendable and the milestone achieved so far will collapse if he is sacked. For this, he needs to stay and finish what he started because he's doing a great job in his ministry.
he has achieved nothing so far, I know his media ops will sway gullible ones among us.

BTW why are you defending a man that stole your country 's wealth to enrich himself also will you be getting some shares

Story for the deities. You probably started listening to the news recently or lack emotional intelligence. Nigerians don't come to public service to work. Instead, they come to public service to steal. If you remove this one that is even willing to work, you will replace him with a bigger thief.

There are more than 36 ministers in Nigeria, but just about 4 have active ministers. What does that tell you about Nigerians? Simple: Nigérians are dubious, opportunitistic and hypocritical! Even those who criticize the government aren't any better; they just don't have the privileges government officials enjoy.

One good thing about Tinubu,, his Ministers are not protected (unlike Buhari,, all the Ministers became “The Presidency”... They became UNTOUCHABLES..)

It's very simple let Tunji go and clear his name, invitation by ccb doesn't mean his already guilty

what we have seen about Tunji Ojo is quite amazing since he took over the ministry of interior, there are so many landmark policies he has been rolling out which are pointing to a wonderful direction

He's company involvement over the on going scandal in the ministry of humanitarian is a big obstacle to what is has set to achieve in his own ministry

Nevertheless I pray to God to vindicate him. He's one of the best minister at moment.

EFCC for Betta Edu. CCB for Tunji-Ojo. Make una continue.

One public officer allegedly looted/stole Public funds while the other allegedly paraded his personal company to bid for contracts.........Conflict of interest at play

Investigative approaches and punishment will ofcourse differ if found 'twe twe' with the public service rules and regulations

He should be allowed to concentrate and focus, please!
If the said contracts passed through the normal bidding code and were not influenced by his office, nor, intimidate the Ministry of Humanitarian to award them, then, he is free. His involvement in cabinet doesnt mean a company he was once a director should cease operation.

By the way, you can never get a total saint to bring the needed change in this country. All the people we are clamoring for has one or two cockroaches in their keyboards. Not to even mention Saint Sinless Peter Obi. Peace!
But you clamoured for the removal of Betta Edu, when the said money was not paid directly to her personal account. Hypocrite in high level.

Hypocrite...so why is he then being invited by an anti-corruption agency and mentioned in association with the scandal if he broke no law? So you fear the DSS more than you fear being a hypocrite?

You will do worse for Nigeria,if you are ever given opportunity, just because some of you are in your Comfort Zone, you can type and say anything!
You said up ' there are thousands of Nigerians, who can do it better' since independence, abi, when Nigerians, have been armstrong, especially - for Ministry of Interior to get Passports for Nigerians- so,how many Other Ministry have been innovative and full of Commendation,as this Young Nigerians? Just name at least 10- of Govt Ministries and Dept!
If Tunji-Ojo have influenced the Contract,in any form ( directly or indirectly)- then he should go and let everyone in the Govt -Ministries and MIDAS -Min& dept defend their Fathers Name!
But,if throuly ,he has no hand, then the Company in question- New Planet- how did they got the Contract in Multiple Millions and have they delivered on the Contract?
Then,if not the Company may have to forfeit the Contract -Sum,for Over- Pricing!
Secondly, the CCB- itself have not been heard for a long time- not even during the 8- years rule of Buhari, and GEJ- so are you saying - all these Ministers and the MIDAS were all ' Saints' ,in Nigeria- during the past Govts in Power?
Till date,we are yet to hear:
i- Mrs Farouk - former Minister of Humanitarian.
ii- the Air Nigeria- former Minister
ii- the Former Finance Minister in Buhari's Govt and in all these,Our National Assembly ( Senators and House of Reps-) is SILENT- as if there is No- Oversights Functions granted them by the Constitution?
• How Could these Homongous NBILLIONS, passed through Nigerian government, without raising 'red flags' ?
•Corruption have really Captures Nigerian State and Only God can help us!

Who stole country wealth to enrich himself?
Keep your emotion in check, you are not responding to this very news.

He stole nothing, benefiting from stolen money does not mean he knew where the money came from. Every debt the thief lady settles or gift gifted with the money has benefited from the money but they have nothing to do with the crime.

Separate two things. He's doing a good job, agreed. There are thousands out there that want to do a good job too if ģiven the opportunity but then if found culpable, he needs the stick.

We need to be accountable as a nation. It's as simple as that.

Tunji-Ojo should be suspended too.

Why are they sending him to CCB instead of EFCC?

Thieves, criminals everywhere
Because in Law Company and Owners are treated as 2 separate independent entities, if found guilty his company might bear the brunt, but his saving grace is that he was alleged to have resigned from any active position before joining politics.

Rubbish...A thief is not to be exempted from facing the law just because he uses his proceeds from theft for charity. Selective justice isn't right for any society built on strong norms and value system. There are a thousand Nigerians who can still do that brilliant job you are praising him for and still keep their public service integrity unscathed.

My heart breaks for Nigeria.

The one we felt could be different ended up appearing saintly while cutting deals in the background.

This is the story of Nigeria.
The amazing part of the story is there are many out there (some on this thread) ready to defend him, like it's nothing. You see why the society keeps degenerating to the lowest point.

Imagine typing long notes just to defend those responsible for stealing our common wealth, somethings are worst than witchcraft.

I love the man because of his work. He is among the best minister if not the first.

The bar is so low now a passport process is now seen a a very big deal in Nigeria.

Sad no wonder Tinubu is ruling with all the baggage’s he has carried around all his life.

A contract close to half a billon and you think he won’t be doing the same with his ministry via cronies and fronts.

The off your mic minister is a guilty man all day.

Is it not people that have eaten a morning meal that will think of getting a passport? This is the least of our issues now.

If he has breached CCB laws and rules he should do the honourable thing by stepping aside

Resign ko, retire ni. I see Yorubas coming out strong to defend their own. Tribalism is Nigeria's biggest problem.

Oga, that company is owned by Tunji-Ojo and his wife - just two of them.

So, a rag-tag husband & wife private limited business has for such a short period executed a contract worth being paid #438m?

You guys put tribal sentiments above every consideration. Keep defending obvious corruption and expect progress
