Depends on the model you need. Honda eod/dc, benz c180, c200. Honda civic sef dey.

Any year your budget can afford but for 2002 to 2006 stay away from XC90 fitted with a Turbo 6cylinder engine T6.

I have a NAIJA used 2006 matrix I can give you for 2M. You will keep like 150k to oven bake. The painter did a bad painting job but the gear, interior, AC and engine is very perfect.

And toks Pontiac vibe 04 for 3.5M
I started using the vibe to ferry my kids to school since the removal of subsidy… it was imported 2 years ago but not registered

I had same concerns before buying a C300. I’ve only needed to change brake pads, and regular maintenance like oil change and plugs. Funny enough I bought it as Nigerian used that was imported since 2018.

If you ever need to buy a Benz, talk to actual owners on their experiences. There’s a lot of misconception about cost of Benz maintenance in Nigeria.

Whatever works for you though.

Bought a brand new Hyundai accent 2012 under GEJ administration for N2.8 million. That was my first car.....and people will say PDP time was bad. Nigerians go learn lesson by force!
