Based on what I heard about the blast radius, shockwave, vibration and sound...
It is possible the blast is from under the ground.
If it were a surface explosion the effect won't be as strong as vibration felt at Apata and other far places...

So likely a stockpile of explosive kept in underground chambers denoted. Most likely illegal miners stockpile...

The truth would be revealed from the state of ground zero of explosion.

OYO state has and is always my favourite state with their neat and organized way of doing things. see swift response from the government and necessary agencies. Their pledge to assi7t those that have been made homeless is very comendable. Just imagine this happened here at ogun state..them for no even see better road reach the incident scene, shey ogun even get fire service or na abeokuta them base. May Almighty GOD continue to protect me and mine with you and yours this new year in JESUS name. amen

This prompt response by the governor should be how responsible leaders react when there’s a breakdown in the functionality of governance

Investigation? Zero.
Emergency services? Zero.
Forensic? Zero.

Healthcare? Zero.
Power supply? Zero.

Suddenly the governor in less than 2 hours, knows the cause of the explosion.

Were security officials aware before time that illegal miners were residing in that location?

The speed at which the government came out to state the cause of the explosion, sounds strange and smells of a coverup.

Oyo is a backward state, where electric power is supplied for only 30 minutes every 4 days, populated with cheap-looking, Ankara wearing semi illiterates, driving like crazed demons in Tin-sized, toy cars called Micra's.

Fc*uk that state.

Oga if oyo is backward where will u place ogun state

Stop spreading misinformation.
Seyi is a perfect example of what a governor should not be.

He has stolen so much that he is currently stealing lands alloted to Agodi gardens and converting it to Baywood estate sharing it among his cronies.

An heritage that was concieved before he was born.

Imagine stealing land from Agodi gardens and converting to residential estate, is that not worse enough ?

Opè o. Oyo State don get emergency number o. I hope the number goes always and somebody responsible for the line is able to help when called.
One line is not enough. Seyi, with your level of exposure, you are under performing.

There should be different line for
Ambulance
Fire emergencies
Police

These lines don’t cost a leg and a arm.

Can all our other states too have, especially our. Or there states where there are insurgences? This will help the people to quickly reach out to security agencies when there’s need.

Abeg our governors and security ogas; no use this to dey pack money o.

The way they quickly attributed the blast to illegal miners without proper investigations is suspicious.

I hope it is not what I am thinking?
