Hello Everyone,

I started learning html/php/mysql some months ago, and it's looking ok to me. Now i can do a complete website, with login,forms, and email abilities. But my problem is that i run out of ideas on what to learn next. I normally feel that there is little or nothing left again since i can do dos i mentioned, knowning fully well that there a million things to learn.

Some days ago, i installed Joomla, Drupal and CakePHP hoping it would easy the learning curve, but i discoverd that i ended up doing the codes from scratch again.
My question is this: Is there a set standard to what i'm required to learn in other to become in good web programmer? Or is it that i just learn as i need them?

I would be so delighted with you honest point of views

To become good in web programmer, Master the act of coding! You can continue with CakePHP.

To be a good web programmers, make friends with at least one good and experienced web programmer - and learn to do whatever that person can do.

gbam!!!!!!! You just said it. This method made me improve, i got a friend that i see code advance and i want to code like him, lucky me he brought his little boy into the scope from there i learnt classes and other advance php tips and this made me improve like fire

I always try help people improve especially here - but that spambot thing don tire me. Anyway, I can try guide you little by little.

Currently, i have two personal projects that, a simple compt. Shop website ready for deployment, and a library where, i try as much as possible to put everything i've learnt so far in those two projects of mine.

The Library v1.0, has a login, upload, forget password, search. But as small as it is i have no functions, Class and Objects in my codes,
