The end of an Era.

If only we all realised that this life is a loan we must all pay back with the currency of DEATH.

If only we constantly remind ourselves that all our "gettings" would amount to nothing when frailty consumes us on our death beds.

If only we see life as a vapour which soon disappears into nothingness.

Adieu Aketi!

Reception at Mydas Hotel and Resort, Ikare Road, Owo by 1pm.

I don't know why the owner of this place decided to situate it in this location. It's a cool place and should be in a state capital. I don't see them getting the needed patronage here.

All this just for one soul that got a recall, have they cared to know where his soul is heading to and then have a rethinking of what purpose we are here on earth for.

The great Akeredolu! May his soul continue to rest in peace & may the Akeredolu family receive comfort in their mourning period.

Meanwhile, this statement confirms the non-involvement of the Ondo State Government in the burial arrangements; they must really despise Lucky Aiyedatiwa so much that they couldn't even hide it. This was supposed to be a state burial with the announcement supposed to be made by the Ondo State Government but it's a shame the immediate family of late Gov. Akeredolu have an axe to grind with their patriarch's successor in office.

It seems they don't want to involve the government in anything concerning the burial because i didn't read anywhere they wrote about government's part in the program

Most of you fighting on behalf of lucky doesn't know what loyalty means. Lucky was a selfish and power intoxicated person that couldn't stand by his principal in his painful last day on earth. This can be attest to his swearing-in speech on the same day his boss died, which he started by "A ku orire o" (meaning: Congratulations to us). Congratulations that someone that picked you out of nowhere in his second term suffer and died. No sympathy whatsoever.
Karma awaits him.
