Good morning nairalanders,

Please I will like to be brief with my question.

I have a toyota camry 2005 with a transmission issue and I don't want to go into that journey of gearbox fixing again, so my gearbox repairer suggested I swap it with his chevrolet Aveo but manuel transmission.

I want to consider the idea owing to the fact that the chevrolet is fairly neat as mine and has a 1.6liters cyclinder as compared to mine which is a 2.4liter cyclinder.

Please the car gurus should advice me on what to do. Should I go for the chevrolet or manage to sell mine and buy another car or wait till I have the funds to buy another gearbox which is expensive and not guaranteed it will work perfectly well or develope an issue quickly as I have witnessed from friends around.

Thanks in anticipation to your suggestion

Why not sell it and buy another Car if you are tired of fixing the transmission.

Why not get a Toks transmission for your Car and get a good mechanic to fix it for you we have lots of them here on Nairaland.
