The Holy Spirit at Work

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:2

Transformation is a change that happens inside out. When the Holy spirit transforms us, he changes us from inside. Everyone struggles with a sin normally. For some it could be anger, for others it could be impatience. For some it could be gossiping. When God’s power gets at work in us it causes a change in us that is transformational. We loose the desire for the things we used to desire before.

Jesus broke Satan’s power at work in us by giving us his life giving spirit. When the life giving trait of the Holy Spirit becomes at work in us we develop the desire for godly living like Jesus. We no longer gossip or get angry like before.

Jesus paid for your sins at Calvary and therefore you no longer live with the garbage of your old sinful nature. You have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit now at work in you enabling you to do what pleases God and no longer your sinful nature. What will power and personal determination could not do, Jesus has done for us.

Key Point: Jesus defeated our sinful nature by giving us the Holy Spirit.

Prayer : Holy Spirit thank you for giving me the power to live above sin.
