So they should generate and not be able to transmit ... would you continue to on your generator without the capacity to send power into your house, and when you can't do, you keep buying generators .. deal with transmission, it is only in Nigeria you see giant transmission mast , in Benin Republic what you see don't look gigantic ....also price have to be reflective ..enough of subsidy in electricity ..some of us only need 10 hours of constant electricity everyday to be productive ..we would hopefully generate the rest from the Sun if need be ..but Solar Power cannot run machinery for Major production outfits ..so they need power .. I honestly think, it is good to oppose but they we should start proffering solutions too.. Despite not using dollars for anything yet, I can't deny the inflation pressure on the Naira as well it's rapid depreciation , and I keep asking why ? Why the instability , although in as much as I am happy it might spur export, my question is still why ? , people trying to survive won't be importing much ..so the answer should be at the door step of politicians moving money out or manufacturers importing raw materials or traders into importation ..whatever it is the NBS and Central Bank needs to tell us why ?

A governments that came in through the back doors, works with propaganda and is not ready to listen to anybody is who you are expecting much from.

They kept on bringing up policies that will bring untold hardship on Nigerians.

Removing subsidy without any plans on how to cushion the effect. They just want to proof a point.
After shouting, subsidy is gone, subsidy is gone, now see where we are today.

Instead of due diligence and consultations, they went ahead to float the naira, another hasty step that has rubbish our economy. Today naira is amongst the weakest currency in Africa.

The power sector is dormant.

Insecurity, terrorism and banditry is now becoming normal in Nigeria.

Inflation is on another level. The cost of basic food items is just alarming.

The funny thing is that their online paid supporters are still telling us that the one who built Dubai, China, South Korea and Lagos is doing exceptionally well grin tongue.

Nobody will build refineries or power plants if there is a subsidy disincentive. Once subsidies are removed refineries and power plants will start working. Nigeria is not a communist country. Even communist countries now believe in profit.

But guess what? It is the NLC holding on to some weird Marxist ideology that wants to keep subsidy and have private power plants and refineries.

No bi juju bi dat?

Watch refineries spring up now that subsidy has gone.

Electricity next. Pain yes. But without that pain, it is a certain slow and painful death.

Honestly, NLC is totally outdated! And voting a Buhari with outdated socialist, Marxist thinking is what finished this country!

This idea that government will do everything is so outdated. FG budget for 2024 is only $25bln or so. Private capital around the world can bring $100bln to this economy in 1 year if we get things right.

Government only give license to those who apply for it.
Hope you're not expecting the government to subsidize the sitting ducks.

Contractors without office, shenshema suppliers, caterers without kitchen, farmers without farmlands and the list goes on.
When they succeed you won't hear any noise, when they don't succeed or get played out, they blame government.

When he finished building the power generation plant, they will say he's a monopoly, as if he stopped others from building theirs.

Retrieve the licenses and set up another issuance process where aspirants get heavily scrutinized to determine their capabilities and readiness for the establishment of power plants across the geopolitical zones.

WE CAN'T CONTINUE THIS WAY IF WE MUST MOVE FORWARD TO THE PROMISELAND
