Poverty level in Kogi state is very high. But sincerely speaking, kogi has no reason to be poor - - if we should put into consideration the resources in the state and the location. There's a direct access to river niger, there are massive limestones for cement production, Ajaokuta steel production is there- - these 3 alone are enough to turn the state around for better.

If it's possible to employ non-citizens to run the affairs of a state, those in charge of Lagos State should be drafted to Kogi. Walahi the state will be transformed within a short time.
there's no reason for any Nigerian state to be poor 4get even d natural resources... D natural resources na part of our problem sef... Kogites should go back to farming

Bad thing no dey hard Naija politicians to learn.
This Yahaya bello don learn from Tinubu. How to deceive people that your political agenda is the agenda of the people, using tribalism as foundation.

I pity Kogi people for the type of leaders they elect. This one just come and chop like Yaya Bello
Two things are retarding the growth and development of Nigeria...
1-Religious Bigotry
2-Ethnic Bigotry

Unless we are ready to nip these in the bud, Nigeria will never move forward. Had the ruling party done the right thing in kogi after Abubakar Audu's death, Kogi would have been a state to be reckoned with today. The late audu had a joint ticket with his running mate and they had even won massively in many areas. Instead of allowing him to continue, they now went and picked yahaya bello who came second and had moved to the pdp to support the aspirant and replaced the audu with him...such can only happen wherever the aforementioned are being practiced. Now, see kogi today,.its not a state to behold despite it's potentials of being as rich as Lagos.

Had the pdp guy in nasarawa been a muslim, he wouldn't have been so unfairly treated. It would have been a done deal and the supreme court would have affirmed his victory. Only a few South west states do not practice the above and everyone can see how developed these states had become, though we could have been much more developed, save massive systematic corrupt system in place.

The same goes to a state where the Christian is on the majority side and there are Muslims who can do even better than their Christian counterparts, if elected into office but were ignored. Any attempt to allow a muslim to lead could instigate the anger of a christian group, same applied to a non indigene of a state showing interests in governance in the state where he had lived and jointly developed. That's when he'd be made to know where he comes from.

Until we grow past this menace of bigotry, we're still playing.

Religion in Nigeria is a sect and culture, rather than a faith or religion.

Last week, Saudi Arabia, the pillar of islam has permitted the sale of alcohol, what they used to destroy in kano, after using their taxes to develop their states, what a joke.

Kogi agenda indeed.
With an EFCC invitee of a cousin as Chief of Staff?
May God interfere in Kogi affairs as Yahaya Bello and his 40 gang of thieves are holding the state hostage with lopsided appointments to people with questionable characters.

Oga we follow Kogi politics, it was the will of God that made it so. The former Governor died and Bello was made Governor and we know how Governors manipulate elections in Nigeria. Those Igala people gave Bello hell with their small Party SDP.
