Congratulations to Tinubu for breaking up ECOWAS with his stupidity.

And congratulations to the louts who have urged him on in his foolery in Niger.

Empty heads!
Once a democratically elected government returns to those countries, they will beg to return to ECOWAS. Alot of you have zero idea about international politics.

lol. I can see some clowns masturbating over this news. These are pariah countries under despotic military rule that have been suspended from ECOWAS already. They won’t be admitted again until they return to democratic rule.

This is just an attempt to get attention and force ECOWAS to lift bitting sanctions already imposed on them. They and their Obidient supporters have all failed. More sanctions will be imposed on them until the despotic regimes crumble and give way for democratic administrations.

Oga rest
They have left ECOWAS for you and your Lord and Savior Tinubu...

Under Tinubu's leadership ECOWAS is tearing apart..

They don't offer anything to ecowas, landlocked nation, this will prevent people from niger and mali from gaining free access to our nation if we are serious with no sentiments
The budget of Niger's republic was being financed majorly by ECOWAS, AU and other foreign nations. I wish Obidients can relocate to the those countries since they love the coupist Nations so much.

IPOB miscreants and Obi supporters say Ecowas should not invade those countries to restore democracy. Now they are crying again and blaming Tinubu for allowing military to take over those countries and there subsequent exit from Ecowas. Wait, is it that some people have permanently lost there sense of logical reasoning?

Tinubu took a wrong step by threatening them with military action. Tinubu keep making mistakes trying to assert authority he does not have. Nigeria and ECOWAS are not Lagos state where his word is the last command.

Now ECOWAS is disintegrating under his watch. Does this make ECOWAS stronger or weaker? A leader should act with tact and wisdom

I know Islamic militants and Jihadists have already taken over half of Mali. Not sure about Burkina Faso. I hope your friend conducted a solid research before he left Nigeria for a much more poorer country.

The only people that got suspended are those 3 coupist countries. Other democratically elected president should not and cannot be sitting down with and encouraging coupists. We are not in the 1960s Africa.

Yes. It is better.

In a military rule, you won't even have Nairaland to be making post and insulting people in power.

I wonder how you people think. How did Tinubu singlehandedly took any of the steps he took? Does it work that way? All the actions he took was a collective decision by all Ecowas member States. But has the Chairman, he is to announce such decisions to the general public. Is that too have for you people to know and understand

the budget is being financed by ECOWAS because France is strangling them.

I think we should be happy for them to leave if what you wrote is correct. At least it will ftee the funds that use to go to them.

BREAKING: The military rulers of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso are withdrawing their countries from ECOWAS with immediate effect, a joint statement says.

wrong move by these three french colonies whose economy is not even viable.

Who is backing this move, certainly not France, their colonial master, they will surely regret this bad decision.

Many countries both within and outside Africa will avoid them as military dictatorship is no longer welcomed around the world.

They've drawn a battle and enemy lines with ECOWAS and Nigeria.
