AJIBADE, ADESILE, SONDE—IKOKOH, OTHERS TO HEAD OGUN YOUTH COUNCIL DIRECTORATES.

The 10th State Executive Council for the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter, on Thursday February 1, 2024, will officially announce the full membership composition of its State Directorates. This was made known by the State Deputy—Chairman of the Council, Com. Adejoke Adeoye, today January 29, 2024.

Responding to an online media parley at Ogun Youth House, MKO Abiola Stadium, Adeoye announced the setup of Directorates confirming nominations from Stakeholders and approval by the State Executive Council.

The Directorate, an arm of the Youth Council, is saddled with the responsibility of reflecting and properly engaging with relevant Stakeholders on some thematic sectors for the overall interest of the youth constituency.

Revealing the composition of these Directorates, Adeoye confirmed the appointment of the following young persons as Heads of some portfolios: Dr. Kola Mustapha of Abeokuta South Local Government, Com. Tosin Adesile of The Youth Network on HIV/AIDS (NYNETHA), Com. Iyanu Sonde—Ikokoh of the Nigerian Girls Guide Association, Com. Adedeji Ajibade of Imeko Afon Local Government, Com. Moses Awonaya of Ijebu East Local Government, Commandant John T Taiwo of the Man O War Nigeria among others.

Also appointed as Special Adviser and Special Assistants to the State Chairman of Youth Council are: Muhammad Giwa, Abiodun Oyewo, Oluwanisola Sanni, Semiat Abolade and Olukoyejo Morenikeji.

The appointed members will be presented their Letters of Appointments at the forthcoming State Ceremony slated for Thursday February 1, 2024, at the June 12 Cultural Center, Abeokuta.
