A New Employment Letter by Ororocelemi(m): 10:20pm On Jan 30
Hello Nairalanders,
Early this January, we all got a new employment letter from our company, it has a different letter head, kind of like signifying to us in the company that we have been outsourced.
It boldly stated that no bonuses or allowances.

The salary still remains same, no changes

I'm confused, it's an international company and I'm guessing maybe they are about leaving Nigeria. Although I was never a staff but it affected both the old employees who where already staffs.

Kindly advise pls cos I've already started job hunting, the earlier the better.

Sincerely Nigeria economy is not being friendly

Companies including banks are all struggling to operate in this harsh with stringent economy policies from the government.

Outsourcing staff to another company is another management long term strategy to reduce cost drastically in order not to lay off employees/workers in an organization.

Second stage will commence immediately by sacking or reduce the workforce if the company still want to further reduce the overhead cost incurr every month in order not to make loss.
