The rules are so so simple that there is just no excuse.

Some commercial concerns are allowed in residential areas (you can see it in the regulations that I posted screenshots of), but at least you must apply for planning permission so that the town planner can assess the impact on the area. These people did not even bother to apply for planning permission, yet someone is trying to defend them just because of politics.

There's no civilised society where someone will just wake up and convert a residence into a nightclub, church or mosque without planning permission and get away with it, yet someone is defending people who have done exactly that, just because of politics.
