What is Bayern and Man Utd doing in the same sentence in a UCL final? Just replace the Man U with Chelsea and it's just perfect.

That Chelsea game is also a worthy mention... But, na that Bayern and United game come my head. grin

These Malians are sore losers.
Imagine playing with an extra man for almost 80mins of game time and still couldn't do anything with it.
Now they are trying to fight the referee like he is the one responsible for their misfortunes.
Those players deserve to be banned till eternity.

Stop confusing hardwork for luck.

Best third-placed team, then penalty win. Sounds like hardwork to me. grin

That Mali player is crazy. What's referee offense?

Very crazy.
And where the heck was the security team? They should have immediately moved in to protect the referee.

Many talking points...lots of history to document about this ivorian team...
The sacking of their main coach...the determination of a relatively unknown or unsung "makeshift coach"...his approach to the game when they went a man down...the bold substitutions he made...the impact of the substitutes etc....

He needs to be properly disciplined... That was so wrong!!!

There are rules.

Not friendlies, but qualifiers.

They were lucky though to qualify from the group stages especially since it wasn't in their hands to do so.

Cote D'Ivoire aren't lucky anymore

They are big game players

All the three substitutes played a part in the goals

Two substitutes both scored the goals

Incredible stuff.. if we meet them, we need to score at least two goals.

My sincere sympathy goes straight to the Malian coach. Dude could not believe his eyes. He is still in a state of shock. One of his crews had to pour some water on his head. Football is cruel😂

That referee get as e be . Partial but not too partial. Why didn't he allow Mali take their corner especially after that very long celebration of the CIV goal?
Only 1 minute was added officially but he blew the whistle after 4mins 30s or thereabout.

The Malians only have themselves to blame. They played with an extra man for almost 80mins.

Apt, it doesn't gets better than thus. This why Chukwueze doesn't fit into the team, even Zaidu but his defensive game is a plus just wrong choices during an attacking run. CIV don qualify to semis....I play & watch too. Your analysis has got depth. Ngl. Thought of coaching or Technical Assistance job?
Thanks bro. For now I just play as a hubby, I have a team I play for. For the job something already occupied perhaps in the nearest future. Let me make a follow.

That's something I also observed...CAF should do better...they left the referees to themselves...the assist referee even got some slap in the process...
