[quote author=oluwaahmed post=128274342]Once civ reaches the semi-final CAF will push the cup to them. The referees have been favoring them since the match against senegal[/quote

Does it also involve making Mali to Miss a penalty or Mali who could not take advantage of CIV red card?
Mali deserve to be out abeg

Yeah, people like you always look for opportunity to wash down Africa.

Even though it happens everywhere.

Yeah right... Keep making justifications instead of condemning what is wrong.

My take from the game.....Mali is very foolish and very naive and inexperienced...I don't know wat they think they are and now am nt even talking about their arrogant attitude ..am talking about their playing approach...when ivory coast went down by a man..they had the game Im their hand ..on the tactical side of it you will have a numerical advantage and no matter how good your opponent is a space will always open for u to create chances but they kept trying to play through the middle again and again against a packed 10 man defence...

Somebody will say ivory coast is good but I disagree ivory coast played a very inexperienced be side and they might not survive semi nor even a third place ...

Asides defensive solidity if there is one thing Eagles for example are good at...it is their ability to stretch the opponent apart ...and if Mali had done that more today ivory coast would have lost in 90 minutes....

Cote d voire gave their all but like I said earlier...they played the weakest and inexperienced team left in the tournament

No one said it's commendable, but saying it's how African Football is wrong.

It happens everywhere.

This thing stil dey wonder me o. How could Mali be leading 1-0 with less than 10 minutes to go and with an extra man and still concede a goal? And then given an extra thirty minutes with a man advantage, they still lost? Omo na to flog that their coach better koboko for him bald head. I kukuma trust those soldiers to teach am lesson when he reach house angry

So unprofessional
2 red cards now

The chances of winning their next match is dropping as their good legs already have red cards.

bro, I'm not talking about their personal dealings...
I am talking abt what those guys have been able to spearhead and achieve for their country's football since their retirement...its been amazing...

People who didn't contribute anything to Nigeria football are the ones in the FA doing nothing....

I just taya....look at ivory coast....look at their stadiums ...see the one wey naija play inside yesterday...see the aerial view ...see the one wey dem play mali today...
very fine sight...come dey be like say na UK host am....cote d'Ivoire ooo...our neighbor ooo

even Cameroun did a wonderful job in 2019 edition...

but when Nigeria wan host

Nigeria is not being run like a country...they run it like a ring...

I'm sorry to sound that way tho...
u have a point.

But then again.. these are new stadiums built for the Afcon, so expect Dem to beautiful. Dem spend money.

I think we are the only elite country other than Senegal that have not host Afcon for a while now.

Why that is so? I don't really know.

But I know if we get somethings right like u have mentioned, we should host Afcon in the next 10 years.

Insecurity and Economy na problem oo

Afcon was changed from even year to odd year Nigeria won it first..

Now Afcon has been change from 16 to 24 participating countries.. Nigeria will still be the first to win it with the new change
Did you watch the last afcon that was played in Cameroon? It was played by 24 teams.

The midfield is bad I agree with you. Since the midfield isn't good, they can help in defense and we rely on the flanks. And the flanks aren't up to expectations that's the problem.
yeah well but that's where most assist comes from the left wing.. Simon.

why are you fighting the ref...very useless thing to do..

ref give your opponent red card ...still see penalty...u lose....you have everything to win...

but at the end ....you lost...so what's the fuzz...

well na so he dey pain sha

cos thats a fvcking fair game....that ref get mind....

this is the best afcon so far...African football is moving forward....

kudos to Drogba and co....they are doing well...

I believe drogba and eto are doing well for their country's FA than okocha and kanu are doing for Nigeria Football...

okocha na to dey dance around for betking like idiot....its just all about greed and money in Nigeria

As in Nigeria is not a country...na ring!!

What is Drogba and Eto doing for their countries that Okocha & Kanu are not doing for us? Eto is a Cameroonian-Nigerian and the Cameroon he chosed to play for was beaten by Nigeria. Eto bought a fb club in Tanzania instead of the so called Cameroon.
