A trader was burnt to death while retrieving his belongings from a shop at Gusau Central Market in Zamfara state, fire officials told Shops on Wednesday, January 31.

The fire, which broke out around 9pm on Tuesday night, gutted the furniture section of the state capital’s largest market.

Zamfara Fire Station Chief Abdullahi Dauran confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria in Gusau.
