Do you know that your child can start his/her accounting career
immediately after finishing Secondary School?


If your child starts ATS after secondary school, he/she will
become a Chartered Accountant before graduating from the university.

This is how it works;

After secondary, in a year, your child will finish ATS 1 and
ATS 2 because in a year there are two ATS diets.

In the second year, your child will finish ATS 3 while in level 1 in the university.

With ATSWA certificate, your child will start ICAN from
Skill Level because he/she will be given an exemption for ICAN Foundation Level and two
papers in skills which are Taxation and Audit, it means your child will not write any paper in
ICAN Foundation Level and two papers in the ICAN Skill Level.


So in your child’s year 1 in the university, your child can write ICAN Skill Level and
in year 2, your child can write ICAN Professional level.


This means that by the time your child graduates from the university,
he/she would have become a Chartered Accountant.

This will give your child an advantage as a young graduate, in fact, it is easy for
companies like PWC, Adekola Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture Inc and other
top accounting firms to employ your child.

Isn’t that enough reason for your child or anyone you know to start their
accounting career journey immediately after secondary school?
