These people look like they have nothing to lose, they would not care if they die, they don't have kids, no families, no friends, no job, no money, no education, no nothing! They look like they are just surviving rather than living. It is a pity co's the society creates these kinda people.

It would be easy to recruit them into kidnapping or terrorism.

There was a period in Nigeria when everyone, regardless of class or means, prided themselves in extreme neatness. During this period in Nigeria history, anyone dressed like the kidnapers (pictured in first page ) would be looked on with suspicion, maybe they are a thief, a madman or someone that drifted into Nigeria from Neighbouring countries through our Northern borders, and you'd give them a wide-berth. Perhaps this attitude helped Nigerians stay safer than nowadays, presumably, when anything is accepted.

Coincidentally, in the UK people dressed like tramps run the risk of being picked up by the police and carted off to facilities for the mentally suspect where medical authorities use them to test new drugs .

Yes, the West has very dark undertones.
