*Only 6 Nigerians Signed The Amalgamation Document In 1914, namely:*

1.HRH Maiturare Sarkin Mussulumi and Sultan of Sokoto
2. Usuman Dan Maje who later became Emir of Kano
3. Sir Kitoyi Ajasa a lawyer
4. HRH Oladugbolu Alaafin of Oyo
5. HRH R Henshaw (Obong of Calabar)
6. Abubakar Shehu of Borno

The location of the signing of d amalgamation document was Zungeru, Niger State. That was the Capital of the British Protectorate of Northern Nigeria from 1902 until 1916

There were 6 people and the rest of the 22 were British.

*The Edict expired in 2014.*

The document stated that after 100 years, each party can re-evaluate & determine if they want to continue together or go their separate ways.

*The above information is for personal consumption and not political.*

Why did we refuse to honour the agreements?

Nigeria technically expired in 2014. So, we can at least renegotiate the terms of continuing as a single Nation or Federation, Confederation or total separation.

*#Wetin We Dey Wait For?*

Wonderful document. This should be useful in any dialogue going forward!

The Committee of Five of the Second Continental Congress was a group of five members who drafted and presented to the full Congress in Pennsylvania State House what would become the United States Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776. This Declaration committee operated from June 11, 1776, until July 5, 1776, the day on which the Declaration was published.

Funny enough, no Igbo or Ijaw on the list and it has also expired since 2014.

Someone can test the law to challenge the validity of such a document. Since the agreement was between some Nigerians and some British, maybe the law can be tested in the British courts. I'm sure the UK government will have the documents in their archive.
IPOB and Odua can spearhead this in a court.
It will be a peaceful dissolution.

They enjoy milking Nigeria dry.
The documents is around.
It is in dual mandate as written by Lord Lugard.

Reason America had said Nigeria would disintegrate by 2015 but people thought it was Jonathan and Buhari election that made them say it but not so.

With the dissolution, they can still milk us if they want to.
I wish some group of people could test the law in a UK court. If they don't succeed, they can explore another option.

We can start it.
We have the evidence it is in Dual Mandate of Tropical Africa as written by Lord Lugard the Amalgamator.

If Nigeria never existed, your parents would have never met to conceive you in the first instance, and you would never have existed to exhibit gross ignorance on social media, so your blame should start from family, because they say charity begins at home.

I'm not going to abuse you. Your utterance clearly showed how you were brought up. We are having what is supposed to be an intelligent conversation, you are trying to bring my parents into it. This clearly showed you as someone without morals.

Fact of the matter is that iboland in 1914 was critically undeveloped and bereft of educated class.. There was no paramount king or national leaders in iboland at the time.

How about Ijaw land that had Kings by then?
E.g Koko Amayanabo of Nembe
Perekule Amayanabo of Bonny
Jaja Amayanabo of Opobo
Amachree, Amayanabo of Kalabari
Ani, Amayanabo of Okrika?

Etc.

I can’t wait for the day Nigeria ceases to exist! Like you suggested, this issue should be tested in the UK courts, let’s see if ‘one Nigeria’ has any leg to stand on!

More than 60 years after independence, we’re still groping in the dark and at each other’s throats, while countries we we either at par with or even better than in 1960 (Malaysia/Singapore, South-Korea, Saudi-Arabia, UAE, Botswana, Namibia and Rwanda) are now way ahead of us and in danger of disappearing in the distance while we’re busy exchanging blows with one another and engaging in bigotry, nepotism and kwarruption!

Spoken like a true ‘pharaoh’!

What bullshit ‘sovereignty’!? The same forces that cobbled you together can equally uncobble you! Just pray there’s no document somewhere in the UK archives that give an expiration date to the injustice of 1914!

Besides, on what basis did those six individuals speak for the millions of others they signed for on their behalf!?

Most likely superseded by the pre independence constitutional conferences in London.

The constitutions (latest 1999 constitution, as amended) have superceded that document.

We can only revisit the agreement as a matter of national conscience, not legal requirement.
