The late Tijani was the Chief Executive Officer of SportsXclusive and Sports Focus International.

Tijani also worked as the Chief Press Secretary to the late former Minister of Sports, Chief Alex Akinyele.

The late Tijani, who started as a sports journalist in 1987, has travelled wide and far to cover sporting events across the globe. Worked at the Guardian Newspaper, Complete Football, Fame magazine, Channels TV and BEN TV in the United Kingdom before starting his own sports company.

An iroko tree has fallen in the sports journalism industry. I remember him from the show he used to host on AIT called sports library and he also used to be one of the studio analysts whenever there's a cup competition going on. He had an column on complete sports too. May Allah forgive him of his shortcomings and rest his soul.

I use to watch this guy on Complete football back in the days.

Chai Nigeria must have happened to him.

He didn't have the resources to go on “private visit” to France like Tinubu hence he is dead now.
