The Menace Of Agbero In Lagos by japalingo(m): 5:17am On Feb 09
Has anyone noticed lately the unbecoming attitude of agberos in lagos? They are the Lords of parks and garages. Commercial vehicle drivers are not as powerful as they are. They fix transport fare arbitrarily. Commuters are at their mercy. All over lagos, they are there e.g. Oshodi, Obalende, Ajah, Iyanaworo etc. They are one of causes of high transport fare in lagos metropolis. Government BRT buses are never always there. Are they indirectly working for lagos state Government? Why is the government keeping a blind eye to their activities and the untold hardship in terms of transport fare commuter suffer in their hands. Is it not time some something is done about this nuisance?

I hate these guys with passion but I was really impressed by what on of them did today. These stupid korope drivers were charging #300 for a fare that's #200 and were very stubborn. Then an agberoe top bros came around and instructed the drivers to start collecting the usual #200 since passengers were many who didn't like the #300 charge, just hanging around and waiting.

A particular driver was having about 3 passengers in his bus who were willing to pay #300 but the wicked driver,on hearing the #200 order, told the passengers to alight and closed his door....this angered the agberoe top bros who then blocked his exit and ordered his boys to park the bus by the road side and had his tyre deflated.
The thing sweet me die.. 😁

Its the same in Onitsha. I dont stay in Lagos so i will only talk about my resident state
As u dey enter onitsha, dey drop from motor wey carry u reach Anambra state, My guy, na from there dem go dey disturb u

They even trouble pedestrans too, especially as they see u going towards Upper Iweka to go take a bus going to Amambia or Akwuzu junction and co

U must drop at least #200 before dem leave u

God punish all Anambra Agberos

It is worse in Anambra.

An Igbo lady who had lived in Lagos since childhood said Anambra was the only place where she experienced agbero collecting your phone with planks.

You guys' obsession with Lagos is quite appalling;it's crazy ! Why don't you simply relocate back to your village in the East where there are no agberos or must you live in Lagos,Chinedu ? Sho fe gbo,as in,do you really wanna know ? We love our agberos and we are not even about to do anything about them ! Sho ti ye e ! So,relocate back to your village if you can't cope with whatever Lagos throws at you. After all, nobody beg you to come and live here in Lagos.

Pathetic lots, those smelly, crazy guys who rob commuters in broad daylight at upper Uweka and at the Onitsha end of the Niger bridge are what,Saints, right ?! You can't leave those crazy, murderous Ipob guys who are busy killing your people in the East for daring to come out for any business activities on Monday and you're here talking about Agbero in Lagos ! That's the height of senseless hypocrisy !

Chinedu, shut up your dirty trap and face front !
