The organized labour had issue out a 14 days ultimatum to the federal government to address the persistent hardships across the country,it directed that the federal government should honour it's own parts of the October 2,2023 agreement reached with Nigerian workers.
This ultimatum which start counting from today being Friday February 9,2024 was conveyed in a joint statement signed by President of the Nigeria labour Congress (NLC Joe Ajaero, and the trade Union Congress (TUC) chairman, Festus Osifo yesterday.
Besides this, the National association of Nigerian students (NANS) had just given a two weeks ultimatum for the federal government to address the run away galloping inflation making foodstuffs prices going out of the reach of citizens or they will go on mass demonstrations across the country.
