I said something similar on another thread that was closed. A part of me was a bit angry with him for the decisions he made, but owing to the loss of those he left behind, i decided not to be too harsh on him!

Especially when you know you and your parents have just buried two siblings/children!? It was bad weather that made them ditch their plane, and they thought it was a good idea to enter helicopter, after hearing what happened to Kobe Bryant, his daughter and friends? And why should both parents and their son enter one helicopter? Didn't they think 'what if the worst were to happen'? It's not as if they couldn't hire two helicopters....or better still, wait till the weather improves and continue the journery by plane! The whole thing is just shocking and is like a bad dream!

Many people would prefer travelling by road rather than using a chopper as in most instances, the distance to be travelled isn't that significant.

The problem with choppers is with any mishap, it's almost always fatal.
