We've one of the best here, we have resources and we have bad leaders. Bad leaders are the little things that spoil our big things but when we come together and said enough is enough then it will be over

Till then let's continue abusing obi for Tinubu, Tinubu for obi, Atiku for obi, and Tinubu for Atiku, maybe our new generation will get sense

That helicopter model is just too trashy for anyone to fly in, to put it mildly. It only has a single engine, supports a single pilot and only carries a max of six passengers. It's safety record is everything but impressive. It is a light chopper that can easily be blown out of the sky by a wind gust.

It doesn't mean they will pay. They can litigate to the US Supreme Court and still declare that they are bankrupt at the end just to avoid paying.
Even by US standard, $75m is a whole lot of money so most of them will claim that they can't afford it.

The best thing is to raise the safety standards and stop those flights in the night during bad weather. That will save lives that no amount of money can buy or bring back to life when it has been wasted by the reckless US system where aviation regulations is almost as lax as gun control.

Here in Nigeria, once weather is bad and it's night time, in order to save lives, very very rarely will flights be cleared. Perhaps only military flights will be cleared but most civilian flights within the country will not be cleared for safety reasons.

God bless Nigeria for ever!Check my signature for free stuffs!

You are right, I remembered that popular outburst of Tinubu at abeokuta....he said right before his speech that he needs to be snappy because helicopter would not want to fly after 7pm.
Baba wey wise grin

The question is did the family receive the $75 million, no way the helicopter company pay such a huge amount without appealing the verdict and fighting through the courts.

What kind of clueless and useless reporting is this. How is the family of another crash winning a payday now also the Wigwe's win

That case was in court before now, the crash only confirmed the company producing death traps in the name of helicopter.

Now Wigwe family can now sue the company

Baseless reporting. Even if the family is to be paid $75m what's your business. You gave a report not mentioning the beneficiary names but prefer to involve family that are mourning the breadwinner.

5 people died in this crash, 5 people also died in the Titan submarine implosion last year. Herbert was with his son, a man was with his son on the Titan too. Even Kobe Bryant was with his daughter when he crashed. Call me a conspiracy theory but I believe this was a ritual sacrifice by the illuminati. It's just like Nigerian ritual movies where once a year one of the member has to die as a sacrifice to their god

That's why the wealthy have Trusts. In the case the Wigwe's and Aig Imoukhuede have a Family office which handles all investments and distribution. Assets are rarely held in individual names for tax efficiency

Here is the Wigwe and Aig Imoukhuede family office

The age of wicked uncles and crooked uncles is long over amongst the Nigerian wealthy. Certainly from the 50 year olds downwards.

I hope there'll be thorough investigations about all circumstances that surround the unfortunate helicopter crash that killed Dr. Wigwe and others.

I also hope that, Access Holdings will be strong enough to pursue a reasonable course of litigation against the manufacturer of the aircraft. There should be a critical safety assessment of all choppers manufactured by the same manufacturer and then recommend them for remodeling or total withdrawal from the sky until they can be certified okay to fly.

Safety first must be a compulsory rule in the space world

Great! The children will only miss the personal touch of a parent. I trust Aig-Imoukhuode will be there for them. He is a very stable personality. Thankfully! His wife also packs a whole carton of empathy!! Nice to have worthy friends!
