Actor, Yul Edochie, has received heat from Nigerians after his prophecy about the Super Eagles beating Ivory Coast in AFCON 2023 finale fails to come to pass.

Yul who began an online ministry some weeks ago on Sunday, February 11, predicted that the Super Eagle will beat Ivory Coast to clinch the AFCON Cup. However, the match ended 2-1 in favour of Ivory Coast. He came online afterwards to commend the Super Eagles for a great outing, saying โ€˜โ€™it is well''.

He has been receiving heat from Nigerians since then with many calling him a fake pastor. Read their comments below

Is just funny that Nigerians (some 70%ers) are little balled beings, you left people that you should vent your anger on and you started attacking people that tried to give you small happiness or people that did nothing. Since, Nigerians no won get sense.....if I am the president I will sponsor people that will be doing give away, or be sponsoring Big brothers, so that those living in fool paradise (social media) will build house there.

That wasn't a prophecy at all na. He only expressed his personal optimism in the national team as a patriotic Nigerian.

Where in that post did he mention prophecy. Hatred shouldn't be this clueless abeg

Men of God and God of men can prophesy, but it's not advisable to try that with football and election outcomes.

Misplaced priority..
Why not drag APC government for failing to make 1 dollar= 1 naira as promised
24 hrs electricity
10 million jobs every year
End insecurity
How come we suddenly forget about all these and keep focussing on Nigerian pastors, bobrisky, yul edochie, Regina Daniel and Big brother 9ja?

Maybe na the fake pastor caused super Eagles failure at the final... he said it as if he foresaw it ..so that's prophesy...if he has said I pray super Eagle wins before the end of 90 minutes...it's means he's just been patriotic but he said it with a tune of finality that prediction or prophesy as he now call himself a pastor
