Ada woke up to the soft melody of birds chirping outside her window. Excitement fluttered in her chest as she remembered the plans she had made for the day with the love of her life.
She's determined to make this Valentine's Day memorable, Ada spent the morning preparing a homemade breakfast of heart-shaped pancakes and freshly squeezed pineapple juice. As the aroma of pancakes filled the air,
Just as Ada put the finishing touches on the breakfast table, she heard a knock at the door. With a grin, she rushed to open it, only to find Obi standing there with a bouquet of roses in hand and a sheepish smile on his face. Obi is the love in Ada’s life, what a coincidence! Adaobi is a common traditional term in Igbo land, southeast of Nigeria.
Ada welcomed Obi inside with Joy all over her, feeling good and a rush of warmth filled her heart at the sight of Obi’s thoughtful gesture. They shared a tender embrace before sitting down to enjoy the breakfast Ada had prepared with so much energy.
After breakfast, Obi reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box. Ada’s heart skipped a beat as he got down on one knee and declared his undying love for her, asking her to spend forever by his side.

Ada did not eat when she came back though her friend Rejoice persuaded her to eat. She soon shows the video to Rejoice unknowingly to her that a secret is about to be revealed right in front of Obi. There was shock all over the room and the noise soon escalated. It was a bitter morning. Rejoice pray for the ground to open for her to be swallowed.
The last Valentine's was a bitter experience for Rejoice. She lost her friendship with Ada.

Ada and Obi soon got married four months after Valentine's Day. Joy was full everywhere and Rejoice was nowhere to be found.

What a wonderful story line....

Nice stuff. God save us from unfriended friends. In life I have grown to know that your real enemy are to who hang around you claiming to be your friend. Be careful with people around you.
