It's very laughable how the Northern farmers are getting full government support on agriculture while the southern agricultural aids never gets to the farmer. |

I've got to say the man has a point. Nigerians don't put enough pressure on the their state governments and LGs to deliver. Everyone focuses only on the FG |

Exactly. Everybody must be involved to attain sufficiency. We can't, honestly, leave the responsibility for the north alone to shoulder if we must attain and sustain food security on the short and long run. Out with the old system, embrace mechanized and large scale farming of commodities that best fit your climate and soil types and see the enormous change this would bring into the development of our economy. NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN but everyone has a role to play. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA SO ENORMOUSLY TOO GOD BLESS ALL PATRIOTIC INDIGENES OF THIS NATION WE RISE! |

the president should as well open up sea transportation because it will aid in the fast movement of perishable goods from the farm to the consumer |

Nonsense Lip service Who doesn't know the problem of agriculture industry in nigeria From insecurity, high operational cost, lack of infrastructure, storage etc The only staple food in nigeria is rice, let it be imported to compliment the little local production But what do you expect from a bat |

festacman: The worst part is that they keep pretending that they are unaware that the chasing of farmers away from their farms by Fulani herdsmen is the central problem causing scarcity of farm produce and consequently the high cost of the little food stuff available. |

Godjone: No state can single handedly have a successful police except our Constitution is reviewed. Tool in the hands of APC. We better tread softly and demand our basic human rights from the elected government. Trial and error in the time and age. Japan and UK are in recession. Check what they're doing...... Ours, na to celebrate am like we reach quarter final of next world cup |
