It's very laughable how the Northern farmers are getting full government support on agriculture while the southern agricultural aids never gets to the farmer.

I've got to say the man has a point. Nigerians don't put enough pressure on the their state governments and LGs to deliver. Everyone focuses only on the FG

When he is serious he will task the security council to end the herdsmen menace and allow farmers return to their farm. Till then he is making noise

Exactly. Everybody must be involved to attain sufficiency. We can't, honestly, leave the responsibility for the north alone to shoulder if we must attain and sustain food security on the short and long run. Out with the old system, embrace mechanized and large scale farming of commodities that best fit your climate and soil types and see the enormous change this would bring into the development of our economy.

NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN but everyone has a role to play. GOD BLESS NIGERIA

GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA SO ENORMOUSLY TOO

GOD BLESS ALL PATRIOTIC INDIGENES OF THIS NATION

WE RISE!

You want people to go to farming abi
(1) Put a stop to open grazing and embrace modern way of making it lucrative for investors, teach the farmers modern ways in their local language.
(2) Security !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehehe.

Even though am not Tinubu's fan,but I totally support him on this one.

These glutinous governors should at list do something tangible for once.

They keep on receiving allocations and security vote but do nothing with it.

Who doesn't like free money entering monthly

No gov will work except nigeria is restructured

the president should as well open up sea transportation because it will aid in the fast movement of perishable goods from the farm to the consumer
Re: Tinubu To State Govs: "Support Local Farmers To Boost Food Production" by soccerlite: 10:17pm On Feb 15
Nonsense

Lip service

Who doesn't know the problem of agriculture industry in nigeria

From insecurity, high operational cost, lack of infrastructure, storage etc

The only staple food in nigeria is rice, let it be imported to compliment the little local production

But what do you expect from a bat

Still SHALL and WILL statements 9 months post inauguration. Still talking about setting up committees? There is need to wake up. Time is running out.

Create action plan to bring more lands under cultivation in safer parts of the country while the fight against bandits continues
Create action plan to exploit the marine resources of Niger Delta. Create action plan to generate more employment opportunities. Roll out incentive packages to encourage existing enterprises and engender start-ups. Create action plan to boost non-oil exports. Why has Dele Alake gone quiet all of a sudden with sold minerals exploration?

There is no other short cut. No f**king short cut

The worst part is that they keep pretending that they are unaware that the chasing of farmers away from their farms by Fulani herdsmen is the central problem causing scarcity of farm produce and consequently the high cost of the little food stuff available.

This balabu man is eternally confused

No state can single handedly have a successful police except our Constitution is reviewed.
Tool in the hands of APC.
We better tread softly and demand our basic human rights from the elected government.
Trial and error in the time and age.
Japan and UK are in recession.
Check what they're doing......
