One thing you should understand is Nigeria economy is in stagnation not full blown recession yet. The fact that people still afford things and still troop out to their favorite hang out spot is an indicator of survival. However when it comes to comparison with other countries economies Nigeria purchasing power is speedily on the decline and sadly we can't compete on a global level.

You can be the judge.

We are carrying out a building project. We paid N5300 for cement december ending and when we called for new price as at yesterday we were told N9000.

Things are worst.
Some of those people grooving are actually doing so to avoid going into depression.
Some that use to drink 5 bottles before now drink one. They can drink that one bottle for 4 hours.
