They all said the country could not afford it!

Obi was the loudest critic of subsidies!!

OK NOW Tinubu has implemented it, and prices have responded by going up.

Now everyone is blaming and insulting Tinubu!

It makes no sense!

If obi or any of the other candidates especially obi is the president today and things are as they are now, will everyone else sit down and be clapping for him? Someone has to take the heat and the person benefiting from it will take the heat also, if it were better, we wouldn't be hearing the name of THOSE, so let those not be mentioned here, though I still insist that this is not the time of "I told you so"

Inflation in the Nigerian circumstance is caused by overprinitng of money, and low forex incomes.

That in turn caused ..ie the low forex incomes,....removal of subsidy(partially).

So are you implying that if Obi had written in his manifesto that he will make policies that will negatively affect the economy,the current president would do the same thing and justify it?

The earlier you channel this same energy towards telling Tinubu that Nigeria under him is headed toward apocalypse, the better. Leave Peter Obi alone. He is not the reason Tinubu turned out to be a catastrophe.

Subsidy removal is not the cause of the issue. The criminal politicians have taken trillions out of the banking sector and converted some into dollars and held some in naira and these monies are not invested in the economy but stocked in homes, bunkers and tanks.

Banksters, BDCs, Pastors and Politicians as well as politically exposed business men are richer than Nigeria and have used the funds to weaponize the system.

What Tinubu needs to do, is ban BDC Operations, ban use of Dorm account, ban the use of dollars physically except electronically and change the naira notes immediately.

NO. Tinubu himself stated during the campaign that he would remove subsidies.

So the inflation is not unexpected or a surprise.

Nigeria was borrowing 10 billion dollars a year to fund the subsidies.

All PARTIES ACCEPTED that the subsidies had to go.

SO IT IS VERY DISHONEST to now sit back and be attacking the guy who won and is carrying out the subsidy removal policy.

It's extremely dishonest, bordering on gross perfidy.

So why was he against subsidy removal in 2012?

Tinubu or anyone sitting on that Seat as President, can not remain the same. You can not be the same after seeing and knowing the level of information at that level. The challenge is realizing that all you planned to do, disappears in the face of confusion. That is why they rapidly age and need constant intravenous infusions for life-force enhancement.

The President needs us, the critics who are not attacking his personal identity but policy miscalculations. So far he is doing well, but there is so much excessive cash in the hands of the Mechanics of the Economy, and they have used the financial power to weaponize the Economy against their fellow former business partner.

Tinubu will need to, and be ready to bring down the high and mighty in order to cure the system. At this point, he will need to 'nationalize' some private businesses that have received political monies from entities who are connected to oil stealing.

To solve Fuel issues - a couple of the oil fields must belong 100% to Nigeria, mined by NNPCL and refined by NNPCL, (leadership of NNPCL must leave to Fulanis, 100%). Then the oil mined and refined will be sold locally using our NNPC depots and sold to marketers at the cost of production plus 10% - we can refine them using our locally fabricated model refineries that are everywhere in Bayelsa and Rivers.

We can fabricate and deploy advanced models of these refineries. I can basically construct that stuff with guys that are fabricating my manufacturing equipments.

Tinubu needs help. And I need him to find sincere people that can advise him for free, not those political jobbers. We can reset Nigeria and restore the system back fully within 6 months. It is not rocket science.
